I have some nasty chemical type stuff called Goof off, weak citrasolve
"goo gone", and some commercial citrasolve that I don't know how strong
it is, but can't be full strength since the carpet guys I know say full
strength won't last a month in any kind of plastic bottle.
In a pinch, peanut butter sometimes works.
