AVL was the outfit that brought out the Eagle series of systems.
Once noted for holding contests to see who could get the system
unpacked and running. Initially CP/M Z80 boxes, then later the Eagle
PC. But AVL's main business was manufacturing equipment for audio-
visual automation, for equipment such as slide projectors.
