I am going to go with the "standard" part.

I would too. I can't believe you'll ahve any problems/
be able to rebuild it. I am more interested in the
likelihood of permanent
physical damage to other parts, but that seems unlikely.
I really can't see how it could damage anything else. It's not going to
draw excessive current (either from the inputs or the power rail).
