I've never used my OD. It never passed POST, so I
have always
assumed it was bad. I thought about buying a new one and there
were 13 OD's for sale on ebay last week, but I'm looking for a turbo
motherboard for my Cube. Since it would be useless when I get a
33mhz motherboard, why bother?
That's true...you wouldn't be able to use it even if you did
have one. I've got an '030 Cube upgraded to an '040 non-turbo, with
both internal floppy and OD. I also have a second '040 board. I
just thought it odd that it was having trouble with the one disk that
it did access fine before while still being able to access the disk
that was created with that drive and OS combo.
