A few years back, I retrieved some 8" files for Lockheed-Martin. They
had no clue about what wrote the floppies, nor was there any clue on the
labels, so it was a bit of detective work. I haven't checked my notes
yet, but I believe the hard-sectored disks used GCR encoding.
The files in question were 8086 source code.
