You left out the idiotic micro-channel bus!
Actually, MCA is quite a nice bus. For its time, it was fast, and feature
rich. Most of the Internet (NSFnet) ran on MCA based RS/6000s, each
router having 1 FDDI card, maybe 2 or 3 HSSI cards, and an ethernet card.
Sure, back in 1995 net traffic is nothing like todays, but the above
configuration can and did throw an awful lot of data on those busses!
