I remind you that ENIAC was finished in 1945/46. At that
time Konrad Zuses Z3 (finished in 1941) was already working. See

Also Konrad Zuses invented Plankalk?l, the first complete high-level
programming language.

p.s. I think it is hard to say "XYZ was the first computer". In that
time many "first computers" where build by independent people.
