This is classiccmp. I would bet about half of classic computers use one
or the other.

No. The 4116 is a 16K+1 DRAM (so the half-good one is an 8K*1 DRAM) in a
16 pin DIP. The 2114 is a 1K*4 SRAM in an 18 pin DIP.
