The TechRef says something like 'Telecommunication regulations prevent us
from discolsoing any information on the design or operation of the
internal Modem'. The service manual gives full schematics. Go figure.
There very well may have been some confusion as to whether or not they
could legally disclose the technical details of the modem. Which chipset
did the modem use?
