Were these drives actually filled with halon?
That doesn't make much sense. Helium (thermal conductivity) or nitrogen
or even sulfur hexafluoride are probably better choices. Halon isn't
particularly conductive thermally. I still have a Halon 1211 fire
extinguisher in my shop, ready to be used in case of fire.
