I'm not completely certain, but am pretty sure you
could probably
manufacture SIPPs out of 30-pin SIMMs by soldering a header to the
connector edge, which shouln't be much too difficult.
You can, the pinout is identical AFAIK. Depending on the layout of the
mainboard you might also be able to replace the SIPP socket with a SIMM
socket or fit a SIMM socket into the SIPP socket.
