Amongst the stuff that the college dumpstered, was an IBM plug-board
clearly lanelled, "COBOL Interpreter".
Before we get into the unlikelihoods, . . .
We assume that it was for the [long gone] card interpreter,
and was jumpered for optimal display of the fields of a COBOL unit record.
