Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical
minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which
holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd
by the clean end.
This is the new "script kiddie" way to make
open source. Just mashup
a bunch of libraries and bind them together with chewing gum and
bailing wire.
Like most things in the world, you get what you pay for with open
source.
Some open source is crap, but much of it isn't, and if you compare it
with a
lot of the retail software out there, is just as good. If you have
installed a windows or mac package lately, even much of the commercial
stuff
drags a bunch of un needed crap along with it.
At least with open source software, if something doesn't work as you
think
it should... You can fix it :)
