I was looking at the isopropyl container that I have and noticed that it
is a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water. I wonder if you can get a 100% (or
as near as possible) w/o going to a chemical supply house.
The suff I use, which is sold by electronics shops over here and is
branded 'Servisol' (a fairly well-known brand of electronic
cleaners/lubricants/etc, what are often called 'service aids') claims to
be 99.9% pure. But I will admit I've not verified that :-))
