The real reason HP won't make more is because they've got fucking
clueless incompetent idiots working in management. But we already knew
that. I would think they would would re-release them at
that price point. I
bet that box could be recreated today for very little. HP could use the
money.

The price is probably based on a similar calculation among buyers, of
the total working population that will reach ebay in a reasonable time
frame.
