The KERNAL ROM for the SX64 is a special one. It
uses a 24 pin 2364 ROM
or a 2564 (I think that is the number) 28 pin ROM. Neither are pin
compatible with a 27XX(X) 28 pin EPROM. An adapter needs fashioned
(disclosure, I sell such adapters) for an EPROM, so plan on that. Many
sites show the wiring (GOogle 2364 adapter schematic, or similar)
Can one use a Moto 68764 EPROM without adapters? I've used them for
replacement 5150 ROMs.
