I've never had one apart. If there's a mains transformer inside then it
must be tiny, because the power supplies are lighter than any linear
power supply I have. I suppose it's possible that the transformer is
quite small - what's the current draw on the 9V AC line anyway
I believe it's spec'd at 1A, if we're still talking about the original c64
supply here...
