Why do you limit yourself to only the yearly hamfest? What about the
regular flea markets? What about the thrift stores? I'm sure you have
one or the other or both in your area or at least within a 30 mile drive.
What about placing an ad in your local paper?
WANTED: Cash for your Old Computers!
(Be sure to mention 1985 or earlier or else all you'll get is PC schlock.)
My only source of free stuff is the ocassional find at
the
dumpster in the EE department. And I am not going to cut short
what little family time I have on weekends in order to drive long
distances to more plentiful lands.
Well, you must be an adventurer if you're really to enjoy this. That
means occasional long drives. Make it a family event!
I guess that article on where to find old computers that I've been meaning
to write is still very relevant. I'll dust it off and finish it up.
