Yes. One of the floppies in the RX01 kit is bootable on the PDT (but not
the main boot floppy, which is for an RX11/RXV11).
I htink there were special drivers for the
floppies and a speial boot block. Don't ask me how to do it, though.
COPY/BOOT:PD RT11SJ.SYS PD0: (or RT11FB.SYS)
This always annoyed me though, since my understanding is that the PDT's
I/O page is being emulated by the 8085A (which is why I/O page refs are
crazy expensive on a PDT -- like dozens of usec) so the peripherals are
all faked in firmware and it might as well have been a totally vanilla
RXV11. Well the ability to format would have been nice (it's a WDC1771,
so it could do it) but anyway the incompatibility seems needless.
