SMUT evolved to Nightingale (Mac only and even for Classic Mac OS),
but it looks as if nothing has happened since 2007. I've never used
it, but maybe I'll pull out the appropriately-aged beige G3 and give
his freeware version a try just to see. There's virtually no
discussion of this package on the online fora, from what I can tell.
