There's a list of IMD "compatible"
motherboards and chipsets on Dave's site, but it's not completely accurate. For
example, I had been using an Abit KT7A motherboard (on the list) for some time, until I
discovered it wouldn't handle single-density (250Kbps FM).
I'm using a KT7A-RAID and I've been using it to read & write
single-density TRS-80 model 1 disks without any issues. I've also had to
resort to using teledisk to image 3.5" floppies from the HP150 because
ImageDisk absolutely refuses to read them.
In that case, there must be more than one version of the KT7A-RAID
(that's the one I used). Mine definitely would not do single-density.
