Using a WD1793, or variant thereof, would require a
complete rewrite of
Int13h. AFAIK, nobody ever got around to doing that, so I kept a TRS80-3
around just for the WD REAL "track read" command.
I am possibly mis-rememebring this, but I am fiarly sure I have an
early-ish MS-DOS machine (8088 based with 8-bit ISA sots) with a WD279x
on the motherboard. I must try to find it and check.
