An additional ugliness in the spec is that apparently
the -5 has to be the first and last voltage the chip
sees. I hope that this is not TOO critical...sometimes
I forget how "good" we have it now.
Personaly I wouldn't touch anything older than a 2716 if I had anything to say
about it. The older ones were a real PITA to use!
