 When I am dealing with a scrapper, I try to find out how much they
 expect to get from a machine in scrap value (after subtracting out
 disposal costs; not everything in there is a money maker for them) and
 offer enough more than that to make it worth their while.
 I understand their business and if I want to buy stuff from them, it
 has to be more profitable for them to sell it to me than to scrap.
 It's just the way the market works.
