That's a part of caring for the care of a pet.
Indeed. I went (unwillingly) from two cats to four this way in the
past two years.

I have never,
ever seen or heard of that happening at or in connection
with animal shelters of any kind, and I've had nothing but
shelter-adopted pets all my life.
I have. I'm in the chicago area. Although I seem to remember that

I used to live in florida. (My CS degree is from UCF) In florida,
if you want a new cat, all you have to do is put a bowl of cat food
out. In the morning, you'll have 5 cats, 2 possums, and a raccoon to
choose from. :-)
