The floppies and documentation go with the controllers / dasd units, not
the suitcase.
buy a 3380 / 3880 / 3370 and you'll have one.
also there is a tape drive I think which takes the unit.
I think the document you use is the MLM if memory serves. there is a
ladder diagram thru the document that you follow that should lead you to
whatever conclusion you need if you are diagnosing a problem.

Looks like a 901X-002 Maintenance Device, for testing units such as
a 3380 DASD. I have one, but no floppy and no documentation.
