The BMW M1 is in the class of those, fiberglass over chromoly tubing
but it was possibly the only roadcar they ever built that wasnt a one-off
creation.
I work on one of these with its owner, its #109 of however many they built.

We have kept it in good repair, and it will still pull your cheeks back.
