Didn't the OP mention that the NVRAM appeared to have been resoldered.
Of course that might just have been elimintating dry joints.
...or simply popped the existing NVRAM out to reprogram it. Hard to
say. But don't most states require that if parts are replaced that
they be itemized on the inovice and the original parts be made
available to the owner?
