A CFA is very likely to have a HP12C somewhere. From Wikipedia:
"The HP-12C is one of only four calculators permissible in the
Chartered Financial Analyst exams, the others being its sister, the
HP-12C Platinum, and the Texas Instruments BA II Plus and BA II Plus
Professional."
The current price of a new HP12C Platinum is about $75, although the
TI BAII Plus Pro is about half that. The TI BAII dates back to 1978.
Neither is a graphing calculator.
