Looked like an IBM 700 series computer. Unfortunitely it was only
shown during the opening credits.
Story is about installing an IBM computer in a TV Studio. Mostly a
situational comedy. I am not sure I will stick around toii see if it
show up later.
IIRC "Desk Set" was cited in the BCS at 50 conference as the first
appearance of a real computer in a movie. I haven't seen it, but
apparently it was quite prescient as regards the uses computers would
eventually have.
