Because Sellam (and another person or two) have publicly posted that certain
members of the list have left "because the list is so terrible now", I was
prompted to check the list database to see if that was true. It turns out
that those posts were somewhat irresponsible and uninformed.
I would point out that at least some of the people that supposedly
(according to recent posts) have left *ARE* in fact still subscribed. Some
of them I have corresponded with fairly recently, at the email address the
list shows as subscribed. I must suspect that they choose to be silent.
Let's keep this reality based.
