Now THAT's a pretty shitty thing to say.
Personally, I moved into my
own place when I was 19, thank you very much, and have been
supporting a good portion of my family for several years.
I prefer to associate the use of real computers with KNOWLEDGE,
rather than financial failure.
I don't think I've ever read anything quite so infuriating on this
mailing list.

I agree. I stay with my parents much of the time, but by choice. I have
an apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and I am about to close
on a house in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
