Are you sure that's not a PS/1 mouse in the photo?
The
ones I trashed were exactly like the photo, but I didn't think
they were the really early mice.
It was the current IBM mouse 1987->1992+/- for many things
of the time. They go for $1->$4 at flea markets and $5->$10
on eBay. There were probably earlier IBM mice, but not as
largely sold as that one. FWIW they're decent mice and I can
'spare' one of my spares for sale.
