The 70 with 8mb will run DOS up to 6.22 and also Windows up to 3.11 really
nice, as well as Windows 95 up to OSR2.5 but a little slower than the
DOS/Win setup.
It should have a 386DX in it, you may also want to look into a 386DX to 486
upgrade chip and then run almost anything. I've cleared OS/2 off many of the
PS/2 machines I've bought and it runs great on them, in the 386 class.

Subject: PS/2 Model 70
I found a couple of 2MB PS/2 SIMMs that I had stashed away and
put them in my PS/2 Model 70, so I now have 8MB of RAM. I haven't
cracked the password on the Xenix386 installation, but thought from
the discussion that OS/2 would be a better operating system to play
with anyway. I have OS/2 2.1. Would that be a good choice? If so,
is there a way to make floppies from the installation CD? I haven't
messed with OS/2 for a long time.
