And if I remember right, you don't need to
even think about the 16-byte
FIFO - it does just look like an 8250 shunting out bytes as fast as it
can. Handy if your ISR doesn't like small fast bursts of data.
There's also a 16560 with a 32-byte FIFO; somewhat harder to find.
