1) It's important to set your Linux USB port properly with the

"stty -F /dev/ttyUSBx raw -echo"

just forgot it. The current software is
still in an early phase of development!
2) There's a minor glitch in the current version
of rktools. If you
don't ask for a verify, you will get a large negative number of verify
errors indicated at the completion of the job. This is a false
indication - the image is perfect. My solution is to always verify
(-V). The board is so fast that there's no reason not to verify.
That's new
to me. I will look after it. Already have an idea what could go wrong.
I'd like to remind that the board is KL8E compatible and that it can be used
without any special software. And there are still five boards left.
The speed8 software is NOT KL8E compatible because it makes use of additional
IOTs found in Omni-USB and not in the KL8E.
