Your "restore" command may/should have a -t
option, which would list the
dump contents only.

Cool! I didn't think of that (I've only used "restore" a couple times,
and it's been years). Next question, does it pull it's info from the front of the
dump image, or does it have to read through the whole image? Yes, I have a lot to get
lists from :^(
