So I am asking for some enlightenment from those of
you who are
more familiar to PDP-11s about tapes and possible reasons
I may not be able to read them?
800 bpi
possibility of 7-track
unique tape format
actual media error (on all 4 tapes)
I'm not sure what you use on your HP3000 to read these tapes, but
keep in mind that RSX BRU tapes use variable block sizes up to a little
over 4kbytes and your tape tools must allow for this (and also record
the block size!)
