Wierd RL02 backup method

I want to backup the RL02 packs that I got this weekend, so I've put the RL02 controller in one of my VAXen, and attached a RL02 drive. I've copied two of them to the VAX and then transfered them to a Linux box. The first one booted just fine, and I'm honestly not sure about the second one. Now I'm wondering two things, first off, how do I go about restoring these if I manage to royally mess up things on one of the packs, and two, are the errors shown below normal? The bit about DLA0: not being completely copied worries me.
