I'm not a DECaholic either, whats wrong with a raised floor in the family
room?
Oh dear. You're suggesting there's something unusual about a raised floor
in the family room? :-)
Especially when it's the only room in the house with a ceiling high
enough to leave room for it. (Other than the master bedroom, I'm
still negiotiating with the wife on that one...)
We used to have computers in the master bedroom (my wife is also
in the computer field). We removed them after a few months, it
made it too hard for one of us to sleep while the other was
pulling an all nighter!
