This weekend's haul still doesn't top
some of the $5 boxes I've bought
from other local spots, but it seemed like a good enough haul to mention.
So without further delay...
25 data books and 3 computer books for $5
20 assorted twist-lock plugs and receptacles
[many are available for trade, see my earlier email]
2 12ft. mac serial cables
1 'AT&T 353A3' cable with a BNC and a RJ45 connector
1 'modem' cable for a custom application, 25-30ft. 9/25 pin
4 14 pin dip IDC ribbon headers
1 25 pin gender changer
M-M or F-F? It helps to know.
Hehe, didn't think anyone would care about it. It's M-M IIRC, I'd have to
look out on the bench to be sure. I see em all the time here locally, and
just happened to grab that one. I figured it was worth $0.50, since I
needed one awhile back and couldn't find one. A few weeks later, I found
my stash of those things...
Any ideas as to what the 353A3 cable might be for? It has an 8 wire cable,
but in the only uses 2 of the conductors. It has a small coil in a plastic
box behind the BNC connector. It reminds me of the converters used for
certain terminal applications, but I've never seen an AT&T brand terminal.
The Glenmarc fluid dispenser is quite a find for $0.50 I think too.
Especially since I know what it is now ;)
