Tony, I usually understand what you're trying to get across, but with
this one I'm totally stumped.
'Floating and low capacitance to ground;. The point being that in this
colour CRT , the 3 video drive signals were applied to the heaters
(moving them wrt ground, not changing the voltage across the heaters, of
course). Theis meant having 3 separate heater supplies (so the 3 colours
could be individually controlled) and having them low capacitance to
ground (so that there was a high impedance to ground at the frequency of
the video signal, otherwise fine detail would be lost. A right pain to
use....
