Well, that's how it is /supposed/ to work anyway...but in actual practice?
Wikipedia was /once/ something anyone could edit, but these days it has
become a favorite hangout for trolls who get banned from other online
communities and forums. The internal workings on the English Wikipedia
have gotten so bad (read: corrupt) in recent years that it is a wonder the
foundation hadn't yet put their foot down and stepped in.
Just fixing even minor stuff today can be a major chore because even if
you manage to outwit the trolls that inevitably come around to revert
stuff "for the lulz", if bad information has also been published
elsewhere, you'll find yourself reverted because "BUT! This /other/ book
says the sky really isn't blue!!" Yeah...
