IIRC, Microsoft bought Xenix from its original vendor, so Xenix
predates the MS release.
Yeah, I think I remember that too.
Acorn were working on a port of Xenix for the NS32016 which might have been
interesting, but unfortunately it all got canned before it was finished. :-(
(I don't think anyone else managed a port to that particular CPU - there never
were many machines which used it)
