But I'm torn as to what OS to use. I was going to use NT Server with Internet Information Server so that I could serve up a dynamic clickable catalog. The I thought that I'd just make a simple shared drive and use Media Player to create and manage playlists. Then I thought maybe this would be perfect for Linux with Samba and Apache. So, here's the question...if you were setting-up a networked MP3 player in your house, how would you do it? hardware's not the question -- just software. Rich
