I think I have a dead one... I've got at least one working RA81 and a
parts donor. Sometime later this year, I might be in a position to
offer what the OP is offering - I've been watching the thread to see
how much interest it generates.
Of course what one could do is take a gutted RA81 and mount some other
drive inside the empty shell - presuming you could tap into the
original light/switch panel, it wouldn't look bad and would weigh a
lot less.
I'd rather move a rack of those than a "real" SA600...
