You signed it "De ARD", correct? I assumed it was a ham radio reference.

No, Dr ARD. I was pointing out I had a Ph.D. (in particle physics). In other words, I should know that having a Ph.D. most certainly does not mean you know everything (or for that matter anything). -tony
