For what it is worth, I recently got a Spectrum
myself. I was able to
modify it by opening the RF modulator can, disconnecting the output
coupling cap from the RCA rf socket, and then linking the input to the
modulator to the output connector directly.
Now, it outputs beautiful video directly to my TV, without any of the
annoying RF nonsense. And it can be trivially reverted back if necessary.
Good one Doug. I think this is the same modification mine has.
