I got in a bidding war with someone and ended up paying $330 for six Onyx2
racks from Boeing surplus about ten years ago. Most of the graphics
modules were toast and a bunch of the node boards failed out, but the rest
of the compute modules were ok. At one point I managed to get five racks
working when CrayLinked together before it all went to custard (lost a
power supply and my system disk in short succession).
They sure look good, though.
