Scans also look better and sharper than they did on the Kindle (a lot of
what I read is scanned).
A feature on the Aura some might find objectionable is the light. When I
first heard of lights on e-readers I thought the idea was ridiculous
(because I value the months-long battery life and I never thought I
needed a light). But actually having the light is more useful than I'd
have expected, and sometimes does improve the experience.

rendering - what I have _now_ is good enough for that. It's about reading
classic magazine scans. That's what I'm missing now. Everything else
about it looks pretty good... well... it could be $70 cheaper.
